El Camino from Paris to Bordeaux

Hello,
I'm embarking on my first road trip and pilgrimage on a new bike starting from Paris. I'll be staying in Paris at a Airbnb for a few days, from the 29th of June till the 3rd of July, then heading south to Chartres for a few days, then south towards Bordeaux.
Any suggested routes or companions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I don't know the routes

Hi,

I don't know the routes there but I have traveled Lille-Paris two months ago and I used three IGN maps (http://www.ign.fr) that bought at Le Furet Du Nord (http://www.furet.com), they have good scale and are reliable. I used Département Routes, they are labeled for example as "D917" instead that Autoroutes that are labeled e.g. "A1". Département Routes are more calmed and good for bicycles, while autoroutes are used to travel fast by cars.

I hope the few information is useful even if it is very basic.

Now I'll be traveling Belgium and Netherlands and during July I'll be traeling in France so maybe I could join you at some point.

J.M.

Paris to Santiago

Hola, I am cycling Paris to Bordeaux this year and found this: http://centre.tourinsoft.com/upload/CARNET-DE-ROUTE.pdf Very helpful I think so I have printed off and will carry with me. I've also cycled the Camino Frances from Roncevalles, but 18 years ago. As a courtesy to walking pilgrims, make sure you have a bell and use it ;-) and also if you can take the smaller roads instead of cycling by the walkers, they would appreciate it. Been camino
