I have been road biking for 7 years, mountain biking for 1.5 years. I'm 25 and graduated from Humboldt State University last May where I studied Human's Rights and Chemistry. I'm packing up my car and driving to a few different places for about 2 months (flexible) to both road bike and mountain bike.
My plan has been to camp as I go, relying on the internet and suggestions. My skill levels are: road biking=advanced-ish, mountain biking=intermediate. If you'd like to meet up and show me some rides, please let me know! I have a list of some trails I'd like to sink my tires into, but I'm not super attached to said list. Of course, I'd appreciate a place to stay, or a campground recommendation, but if that doesn't work out, I'd love to go riding or meet up for a beer! Also, I'm bringing a bike rack with some panniers, so I'd be down to tour if anyone is in the mood!!
The agenda so far is in mid September to be in Central Oregon, late Sept to be in WA, early October to be around ID, MT and WY, mid Oct to be in Utah/Colorado, late Oct/early November to be in NM and AZ!
Cheers!
