Hi - I'm a rail trail nut since I live on the Trans Canada Trail KVR Rail Trail in British Columbia. I saw this and I thought you might be able to contact some of the houses along the route to find out since no one has answered your question.
We are just beginning to get the Trans Canada Trail KVR Trail out of being motorized I hope. It's been really difficult to maintain the trail surface so nobody tries.
Hi Robyn. We cycled on it last year. The gradient is low and it's a very nice track. That's a gravel road well surfaced for trekking bikes but definitely not for road bikes...

Hey, the Croatian part is unpaved, mostly good gravel but definitely not for road bikes.
Thanks for the info, cheers Robyn
Forgot to say, it’s called Parenzana, you can find info here http://parenzana.net/
