Does annyone know an outdoorshop in Christchurch(NZ) where I can by second hand campinggear, tent sleepingbag, sleepingmat that kind of stuff.

Bivouac outdoor is a good store and it all the main city's so if you have a problem with a product you can change it on your tour. They are not cheap but sell quality gear.

I have not encountered any stores selling second hand camping gear apart from shops like Cash Converters who tend to overprice their items. TradeMe would be the place to try second hand items if you have the time to buy this way. I have bought a sleeping bag this way.
Otherwise, it is buy new from the camping shops or cheap gear from the likes of KMart.
Thanks Vincent and Steve for the information. I fly over to N.Z. on the 16th of november and as you know overweight on airplanes is an expensive matter so I thought of bying the camping gear over there.I stay for three months so it is probably worth doing so. Singapore airlines say they will count 60euro for every kilo above the limit. That's a small fortune for a bike and camping gear.
