I was planning a cycle Hobart to Tassie next week. Does anyone know if smoke is a problem? Bushfires northwest but 70 fires causes smoke across state. I read EPA website & smoke particle levels well above acceptable

Every cyclist will be affected differently by smoke so I can't say for sure. Smoke is not an issue in Hobart at present. I ride here each day.

I was cycling in NW Tas til last Fri and had no problem. Other cyclists wore masks. The worst smoke was near Launceston. Don't know what it's like today as I'm in Sydney. A beaut State with easy roads for cycling
