Hi all. travelling on budget, camping and all that jazz. Was wondering about how feasible wild camping would be in Spain (Central) and France (mostly along the West shore).
I know it's most likely illegal. I'm asking for a friend ;)
I'm mostly interested in how realistic is it to hope finding a place out of view to hide your tent, relatively close to some routes. Anyone had any experience with that?
Cheers!
I cycled the west coast of Francem. from Nantes to Spain.
We were 4 cyclists and always found a place to sleep and never got bother.
bivouac is tolerate
it is a little bit different from camping
you must put the tente in late evening and leave early

be carreful with your stove in the forest (landes for ex)
along the canal du midi from bordeaux to mediterranée no problem
you can even bivouac in some "boat harbour" halte nautique like

with hot shower ;)
