Hello there! I'm planning my first multi-day tour ever. My flatmate will come with me, and we are looking for some info about our planned route.
We are thinking about following the coast from our starting point to Caen and then come back through the mainland until Roubaix, cross the border to Belgium and catch a train back to our (current) home in Aachen.
All between ~20th of Feb to 3rd of March.
I've seen already that there are lots of warmshowers members along our route and lots of camping sites.
Should we pay attention to something in particular? Is the weather unstable/very windy/rainy? Any roads we should avoid due to heavy traffic, or places not to be missed? We are looking into visiting some WW2 memorials/monuments.
