Hi we are wanting to cycle from Atlantic to the Med across France, is there any transport with bikes from Bordeaux to Lacanau, I see there is a train but thats to Arcachon. Be good to get out to Lacanau and cycle back to Bordeaux in a day. Thanks look forward to hearing some ideas. Jacqui

Bike Transport to Lacanau from Bordeaux
Hi! We wanted to get to Lacanau two years ago, but the bus from Bordeaux was awfully crowded (actually, we were not able to get into the bus anymore because it was so full!), so I believe transporting the bike by bus might be quite difficult. Check if the bus is able to transport them (kind of doubt that, but you never know), and if it does, be sure to board the bus at the central station in Bordeaux and not afterwards! :)
