Well, tomorrow is the day: May 8th 2023-afte much delay I depart on my long, international bicycle trip. Southwest to Dallas, TX, then turn North to ride the FLAT lands between the Appalachian and those nasty hilly-thingies to the West, to Iowa and RAGBRAI's 50th!!
Then, on to NYC, maybe, probably and then jetting over to Ireland just.in time for winter and hopefully find a redheaded Irish lass to keep me warm until Spring thaw? Then on to the rest of the isles and into Europe where I'll swing North, up and around and then head for Germany, unless I croak off in a ditch somewhere or, if I'm lucky, under a beautiful German maid maidchen mit Daddy issues. After Germany, who knows.
