Hello :) we would be happy if someone could share his*her experience on entering Austria with the bicycle in the past months and how you dealt with the quarantine when actually using Warmshowers and cycling further.. Would be happy about a pm as well or as a comment here :) thank you! P. S. We know about the legal requirements with form, test etc but some experience how the border control is like etc is what we're looking for :)

We just met Christophe yesterday in Turkey and he told us about his somewhat complicated border crossing from France into Germany and then to Austria, PCR tests and the rest.
If I understood him right, he was there with his bicycle only 1-2 months ago, around March-April 2021.

I crossed the border from Germany to Austria by train. Got out of the train (with my bike) at Salzburg and there were customs checking (not all) passengers. I think they wanted to see passport + covid test. They did not check me.
