Trans America Bike Route

I would like to cycle the section of Trans America Bicycle Route through Missouri this spring

 If I enjoy maybe continue to east cost and also cycle the rails to trails from dc to Pittsburgh. 

I am recovering from injury so 50 miles would be the maximum a day. I use to cycle 100+ mile days.
