Im flying to Cape town on the 12th of august, and need to buy a bike.
I also need to fit racks to it etc.
If you have any information about places i can find a bicycle or general info about cycling in south africa it would be great to know.

I can probably refer you to a good number of shops in Cape Town.
What sort of bike are you looking for?
Your question is wide-ranging :) Plenty of good places to ride, but I'd advise you to stay off anything with the designation "N", like N1, N2 etc. Go for smaller roads, more interesting and safer.
