Hello -- and hoping for good information on riding from Springdale Utah to Glendale Utah -- and getting through the Mt. Carmel Tunnel. We will be going that way in a few days and would love to hear logistics. Thanks!

just wait for the big line up during the day. there will be an RV or a truck willing to take you through. tourists in RVs love when they get to help people. or ride through at night when the rangers arent at their booths. getting through the tunnel is not a huge hurtle. just might need a little patience.
Yup, that's my advice as well...just bike on up towards the tunnel. There will be a lineup of cars and campers waiting to go through, and folks are super willing to help you out. No need to make arrangements ahead of time.
I have cycle toured Zion NP twice. I always sleep outside and enter park before 5 am and ride though the tinnel. Second time I turned of my light in the tunnel just to see how scary it was
But I was going down the hill. So you will have no problem hitching, ask people at camp ground or at tunnel entrance, I have also gotten many lifts from rangers ask them , they live to help
