I am looking for tax free bike shops in Germany .If somebody has and able to assist ,its highly appreciated to contact for all bike components .
Hartje is the most common one, I guess.
We're sometimes ordering from Fahrrad-Jung (mostly simple and cheap components) and Ra-Co (good choice for tools).
May I ask what you're planning to do?
Ordering tax free stuff is for dealers/retailers only.
Danke schön Ralf,
I am planning to build new touring bike .I stranger for all countries(seafarer at off- shore ) thats why I can not order to get them all components on board even via some agent(prohibited ).
Some of my friends going to visit Germany and they will bring the components to build that new bike for my next vacation in Turkey than resume my suspended Persian tour from Tehran to indefinite destination :)
I will check all this given shops names by you .
I can't quite follow through what makes you eligible to order something tax-free. Only companies / registered clubs can do that; private individuals can't. Or is there a misunderstanding?
If you want to order as regular customer, Rose Bikes, bike24 or bike-components (just google) are the most common ones.
You got the point correctly :) Thats why I posted it ''Tax free bike shops''.A couple of years ago I assembled my present bike ,most of bike shops they were able to prepare invoice which is tax free ,currently most of them where I have to buy the components ,they are not able .Even they ,so many procedures and bla bla .Depends your country rules ,if you dont stay in your country more then 183 days ,automatically you have got right to shop tax free stuffs .
Well, I really didn't know that. Thanks for these information.
However, I don't know whether it makes a difference whether you order as a company (the dealers given in my first answer are suppliers for bike shops) or as private individual from abroad. Companies get the tax money back, whether you need some kind of different invoice.
Maybe someone else can shed light on this topic.
It should be bike shop where there is chance to prepare this invoice .Most of the online shopping web sites as below ,dont consider you are long distance cyclist or whatever else.I think so they can make easier for all of us to supply ,in rather to encourage all of us ! Because getting competent supply or spare is difficult step to skip ,especially who are living far away from EU .Hopefully some bike shop owner who has this right to prepare tax free invoice may shed light on this topic .I forward below msg to share sort of tax free invoice refunding procedures and documents you can refer it if you are fluent in Deutsche :)
inside the EU we can not ship without VAT.
But you can fill in a formulary with which we can reimburse the VAT when you export the parts outside the EU. Then you need to send us this formulary and the original bill, stamped by the customs. (This option use a lot of Swiss clients). Just make a remark when you order, that you need this formulary (=Ausfuhrbescheinigung).
Alternativ here is the formulary online: https://www.bike-components.de/de/versand/
Just click on hier under "Du das nötige Formular hier.".
