We are doing a 2wk trip through Slovenia. We fly into Zagreb and out of Venice. We have heard that we shouldn't have bikes in Venice, but aren't sure what to do with them. Does anyone know if there is a place we can keep them safely at the airport or train station? Preferably already in bike boxes for shipping home. Or is there a place to stay outside of Venice with easy access in so we can keep them at our lodging? Thank you for the input.

you even can take them with you, i think they even have ramps for invalids, so you can use them for bikes.
