Hi all,
I am Gerard Castellà, a 25-years-old guy from Northern Catalonia (Spain). I am currently working in Cuenca (Ecuador) for about 7 months (November 2010 - May 2011).
In the beginning of May 2011 I will start up the second part of this Latin American experience: a solo bicycle tour across the Andes (Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia and Chile).
Anyone planning to do a similar route within this period? Would be nice to meet other cyclists at some point of the route! :)

Go to Google > Search for 'Panam Riders' > Ask to join & wait for a response from the administrator. There are over 60 members of this group, mostly heading from North America to Argentina. The group that left Alaska / Canada in summer 2010 will be around The Andes around June 2011, so you should find, at least some temporary riding partners.

Reciente en esta web, acabo de ver tu post. Estoy empezando a planear unas vacaciones en bici entre cusco-puerto maldonado y la paz. Todavía no tengo nada planeado.
