Hi Jo how is your tour going? Where are you at the moment?
Hello!
Sorry, I've just seen your message.
If you are worried that you will have problems as foreigners, then there should be no problems, travelers are treated kindly.
If you need help to buy tickets or another questions - write me, I'll try to help.
if you don't break any russian law, it should be OK.
Be careful that expressing negative opinions about "special military operation" in Ukraine is against russian law, and severly punished. Having contacts with russian citizens classified as "inoagent" (foreign agent) may be risky, for them as well as (or even more than) for you. Avoid taking pictures of protests or police, and note that taking pictures of "strategic equipments" is forbidden, and in theory, "strategic equipment" may include railways, train stations, and bridges.
Note that you will have to avoid not only Ukraine / Russia land border crossing, but also Belarus / Russia is not possible until further notice. I don't know about the other land borders right now : Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia ?
