Hi,
I will do a bike-packing tour in Japan in this summer. I am a 45 years old bicycle fan, generally cheerful, easy going guy. I will be free around the second half of June. My initial idea is to fly from Istanbul to Tokyo and to start cycling there towards north. Around 3 weeks long tour. No concrete plans about the route yet. Overnights mostly wild camping and warmshowers, and occasionally family-run B&B's and pensions. I enjoy nature, historical architecture, and sketching. 80km a day would be OK for me but I enjoy slower pace too. Want to join? Ahmet.

Hey! I'm also doing a tour of Japan this year, but a bit earlier so we probably wont overlap. I'm planning to start on April 12 in Okinawa and ending in in Hokkaido. Will probably spend about 3 months in Japan. One thought though -- if you go in June you might get rained on a lot as that is the start of the rainy season in Japan. However, Hokkaido doesn't really have a rainy season so for June/July Hokkaido might be preferable.
