Hello. We are planning to cycle Rome to Istanbul in February - March. For the Albanian part, Eurovelo 8 goes along the coast; but is there a GPX trace that we can download?

I don't know about the GPX thing but just want to say I am very jealous! We drove the route (in a rental car) from Durres to Saranda and back last August 2021 and it is a spectacular route. We saw quite a few cyclists braving the 100+ degree heat and the mountain switchbacks. You will love the ride and restaurants along the beaches in Vlore' and Saranda, not to mention the high mountain views of the Adriatic in between. A stop over in Apollonia near Fier is recommended to see the ruins and museum pieces, which are exquisite. Wish I were riding along with you -- the people of Albania are simply among the friendliest I've ever encountered! Cant' wait to do this ride myself in the near future!
