Belgium

My wife and I toured in the NW of Belgium a couple years ago. It was great for cycling and much like Holland. Easy going along the canals and well marked routes, even through the cities.

Belgium is amazing to cycle..

Belgium is amazing to cycle...can´t suggest an off the beaten track route, it´s so small anyway and most of it´s pretty rural (more tractors than cars)...I´d just avoid Brussels and the big cities if you want peace and quiet. Hit the smaller towns for the beers...

If you´re close to Netherlands, Maastricht is brilliant.

If you´re carrying a tent check out https://bivakzone.be/ - during the week the sites are typically empty, weekend you may meet some people.
